Here is our latest dose of Mynterests – a collection of creative news, insights, interesting campaigns & product launches in the world of design, branding and advertising from the past few weeks…
Burger King Sponsors Stevenage FC
Fast food brand, Burger King, launched a campaign designed to transform the team into one of the biggest online clubs in the world. It sponsored 4th division football team Stevenage FC – and by sponsoring the real shirt it meant that their branded strip would also feature in the video game FIFA.
During the campaign, which lasted just over two weeks, Stevenage were the most-played team on the game’s career mode. More than 25,000 goals were scored in the club’s kit and shared online, turning Stevenage FC into FIFA Royalty!
Now who’s hungry for a game..?!
Prada and adidas Reveal Collab
Prada and adidas have come together to recreate the Superstar sneaker in pure simplicity – with just both brands’ logos stamped on its side.
The subtle take on the original unisex design created by adidas in 1969 was crafted in Prada’s Marche region workshops using full-grain leather and is unlike most collaborations out there, which typically result in large dual branding.
This pared-down collab features a simple heat-stamped Prada logo and comes in a trio colour-ways: monochrome black, white and black, and chrome silver and white.
The new Prada Superstar is available now, via Prada boutiques and adidas flagship stores worldwide and selected wholesalers. The range is also available online via
prada.com and adidas.com.
‘UK Disneyland’ Reveals New Plans

The theme park will eventually be a two park resort, with the second gate opening in 2029, with 70% of the attractions undercover keeping the British weather
at bay.
Roll on 2024!
