Vibram – Arctic Grip
Identity & Launch Campaign
To create a new brand identity and supporting marketing materials for the launch of Vibram’s latest sole, Arctic Grip, which is incredibly grippy on wet ice.
What we did
Vibram approached Mynt in 2015 to work on a variety of brand identity, marketing communication and brand experience projects.
To help launch the brand’s latest sole technology, Arctic Grip, we designed its identity, directed a new photography direction, created promo videos and worked up print ad campaigns & exhibition graphics for Vibram and its exclusive partners to roll out.
We created a dynamic logo for ‘Arctic Grip’, emphasising the angles and contours of snowy and icy terrain that you would usually find yourself on in these groundbreaking shoes.
An unusual style of photography was adopted, shooting through ice to reveal the sole technology and detail; proving that Vibram’s Arctic Grip technology really does make ice obsolete. Detailed shots showcase how areas of the sole change colour to blue in the iciest of conditions.
Our ad line ‘Makes Ice Obsolete’ runs throughout the campaign – across print ads, exhibition graphics, retail POS and the video promo that we produced in-house to help launch this new product into the market with confidence and clarity.
