National Space Centre

The aim of the project was to increase the level of visitor excitement and wonder to the main entrance and front-of-house area of the National Space Centre.

What we did

Graphic Design
Interior Design

A new large-scale glowing welcome wall now greets visitors to the centre upon arrival.  Soyuz, a Russian-manned Space Craft, is suspended within the middle of the environment and becomes a new focal point within the front-of-house environment.  New graphic installations surround the base of Soyuz, educating visitors of the Space Craft’s heritage.

We also created new café branding and signage (Boosters), alongside a new “Russian-feel” seating booth area, showcasing various Space-related artefacts and a timeline of the Soyuz throughout the decades.

A new “countdown” installation showcases the multiple attractions at the centre to visitors as they queue up for tickets, while huge galaxy graphics wrap around the exterior of the 77m Planetarium to give a glimpse of what visitors can expect to see inside this attraction.
