Y-3 Retail Concepts
Design retail interior concept applications for flagship, high street and concession formats for Adidas Y-3. The concepts must be influenced by the product’s intelligent detailing.
What we did
The collaboration of a leading sports brand with a modern day master tailor, Yoji Yamamoto, allowed Mynt to explore a new level of design when collaborating with Adidas Y-3. A brand renowned for its level of highly technical fabrics, we reflected the uniqueness of the product throughout the store environment.
Sourcing a range of unique finishes including a transparent concrete, which created an urban material with a technical twist, helped reinforce the brand’s philosophy. Pivoting wall display panels were incorporated creating a changeable retail envelope, reactive to product ranges and trends, whilst refreshing the square box format on a seasonal basis.
Retail concession design formats were then developed to capture a consistent retail voice across a range of retail footprints.
